Look I absolutely hate wearing shoes they make my feet sweat the there uncofertable! buthen a God send the flip flop! Its easey to take on easey to take off,it's comfy but istill don't like wearing them compared to being bare-foot but still it is the next best thing!
But i get all sorts of remarks about them how there not good looking or it is just a fad why? why do people even were shoes? When my freinds come over they always have to them and there sox off! well why?

Well, wearing shoes is social convention (No shirt no shoes no service). But it is also a health matter. You can step on something, or maybe in something. I think flip flops are here to stay, and can be worn whenever you like, as long as appropriate (aka work). But there are different kinds of sandals, maybe you could find some that work for you and are appropriate for different situations (I love flip flops too - i wear them to work and then change when I get there!)

I think its more of the fact that people think its acceptable to pretty much wear flipflops in the work force. For example in a local payless here is a girl dressed with a blouse pants and beach flip flops. This is not the place to wear your flip flops going grocery shopping the mall, the beach yes. I was reading on here were someone spent 80.00 for designer flipflops. Keep the flip flops for running around outside and on the beach, and keep the dress attire for going to the office and to work.

feet sweat in flip-flops too. and then it'll make that nasty squish-sound. Two: germs/bacteria. it's easier for them to get into ur feet if u are wearing flip flops or going barefoot. Three: some people just do not have nice feet and others do not know how to buy the right size. Do you really wanna see someone's feet and they look tore up?
