Nextel Cell phone service?

Nextel BEEPS!!! It is my #1 choice of services available.

AWFUL!!!!!! We currently have Nextel phones and they give us problems constantly. Not just the poor quality phones, but the service as well !!
We'll most likely be switching to a different service, as soon as our contract is up.
Problems we've had: (actually been through 3 phones):
Phone charger
Phone itself
Phone battery
Service plans & customer service

Nextels service coverage sucks, I use the company phone and cant get service beyond my front door. My company even had to install booster antennas inside my building just so we could get service. By the way, I live in downtown Pittsburgh

I used to be agianst Sprint, but since they hooked up w/ Nextel, I'm seeing a new Sprint... and I think I like it. I haven't switched yet so I can't tell you about signal strength or dropped calls though. I will say this... I have Cingular and I have had a dropped call only ONCE in three years.... which is pretty good if you ask me but I'm switching to Sprint for free incomming, plus w/ Sprint you can choose what time EVENING (freetime) starts.

I have Nextel and I loved it until they joined Sprint. Now I have problems with getting good signal and dropped calls.

Hated it, sorry. They never had reception anywhere. drop a lot of my calls. and there customer service was ridiculous. oh and it took them 6 months before sending me the bill through the mail.........

Where I live it is better than verizon. Verizon sucks!
