Cedar Point stunned thrill-seekers yet again in 2003 with the debut of the park's unprecedented 16th, yes, 16th, roller coaster – Top Thrill Dragster. Reaching a stratospheric 420 feet tall and topping out at an unheard of speed of 120 mph, this new steel screamer helped Cedar Point reclaim the title of owning the tallest and fastest roller coaster in the universe. In Sandusky, Ohio

Six Flags: Great Adventure (New Jersey) - Nitro
As much as my heart sings out for the twists and turns of Medusa, the giant that is Nitro is just amazing. Not only is it higher than the observation deck of the Eiffell Tower, the Leaning Tower of Pisa, and a pyramid or two, but it is more than a one-trick pony. It has a GIGANTIC drop to start you off, but then the ride goes on for over two minutes. Definitely worth the price of admission, and even worth my mild fear of heights! ;)

THE BEST ride i have ever been on has to be the Raptor at Cedar Point in Sandusky, Ohio. It really is incredible, and although the wait is kinda long, it really is the best steel coaster. You hang suspended and it feels like ur flying...their is a lot of twisting and turning. Its incredible.

I love coasters, but it's hard to compare one to the other. Wood coasters and steel coasters are completely different, and some I value for their uniqueness, and some for their sheer impressiveness.
Wood coasters: Thunderbolt - Kennywood Park, Pittsburgh, PA and The Beast - King's Island, Cincinatti, OH
Steel coaster: Millennium Force - Cedar Point, Sandusky, OH
