Just what do you need a girlfriend for right now anyway? Its not like you're going to get married in a couple of years. Sex right now is not very responsible either...do you really want to be a parent at 14? Yeah, there's "protection" but none of it is 100%.
If you're just looking to have fun, then why not have fun? You don't need a "girlfriend" for that. Find people (guys or girls) that have the same interests as you, and then find things to do together. Then, when you are older and are ready to consider all of the responsibilities that come along with a "girlfriend", you'll already know some girls that would interest you.

hey sweetheart....it's OK not having a girlfriend yet....it's hard enough being 13....having a girlfriend would only complicate things even more believe me i know....I'm 33 and in a relationship i can't stand being in...but when i was 13 there was a boy that was a year older than me and i was absolutely "in love" with and something very embarrassing happened....i went to a school dance and asked the d.j. to play a song for him and i to dance to and the d.j was supposed to say "Jenni Jones want to dance with brad Johnson and ended up saying "Jenni Jones wants brad Johnson" i was so embarrassed and everyone in junior high was teasing me for ever i was also having problems at home so i ended up taking a whole bunch of pills and really trying to hurt myself all because i wanted a "boyfriend"....i ended not getting in a relationship until i was 18 so.....PLEASE!!!!!!!......just be patient....there is someone for everyone and there is a special girl out there for you.....GOOD LUCK

I didn't have a boyfriend until I turned 21. Sheeshh. Kids these days. lol

That's OK. I am 16 and have never had a boyfriend. I'm sure it'll happen for you, you have your entire life in front of you.

psh im 13.. i have boyfriends.. so its not too young. i dont have one right at the moment but i have had them in the past.. theyre not all that great
