The two things I hated most about what I didn't manage to avoid wearing- 1. Top o' the muffin haircut. Arrrrrgh! I learned to cut my own hair and well never trust hairdressers again. THEY did this to me even when I didn't ask them to. It was traumatic.... 2. Oversize t shirts. I'm a small woman with relatively broad shoulder, so those huge t-shirts made me look like a dispraportionate, shapeless freak- monster. They should all be burned and never, ever allowed to come back in style. My life is so much better with small t-shirts!

in true hispanic bensonhurst style (NY), I wore
Bright yellow, orange and red Cavaricci Jeans, Karl Kani. That were WAY to big for me. Like MC Hammer.
A Silver Bolo Tie, sometimes with a scorpion jewel.
And patched rayon shirts, purple, orange and brown.
Mushroom haircut.

spandex biker shorts, scrunchies, hightop sneakers, anything looney toons, big curled bangs, sideways pony tails, neon clothing with geometric patterns, slap bracelets as fashion jewlery, ruffled sockes, and a lot more.
Looking back, I realize those fashions were hideous, but at least the pictures are hilarious.

stirup stretch pants, banana clips, and I don't know what they were called, but I even had a pair of pants that looked like something that M C Hammer would wear. They were made for a girl and bought at a girls clothing store.

I wore flashy red ties with my shirts. Also I had 2 different colors of hair on top of my head. I had experimented with blue, burgundy, blonde, black (one color at a time with my brown hair).
