How common is it for one to get addicted to porn?

Porn has given me a false image of people and a tainted image of life. I have rid all porn out of my life and I feel better for it. It may be a strong urge or temptation, but no, I would not say it is a normal act. Just a common act.

My wife works at an adult store. When I have gone up there to drop stuff off to her, I've seen every type of person in there. Including groups of 50 yr old conservative looking women, and a 60 yr old guy in panty hose and high heels. Guess what is the same? They are people, with the same urges. Don't get me wrong there is some REALLY gross stuff, but the majority is normal stuff most people would think of.

Anyone who thinks its nasty is a prude. If you have sex and get turned on, then its completely normal to get turned on by looking at other people do the same thing. I look at porn because its stimulating and arousing (as do other people). I am not ashamed of it---but I wouldn't go telling my Mom that I look @ it either (you have to have some boundaries).

Pornography is not normal. Society and media are trying to condition us under the ploy that sex is normal. And to be healthy you need to be open. Sex is is a beautiful intimate thing between two people that should be deeply in love and commited to eachother. It isnt as casual as everyone would like to make it. I hope it doesnt grab a hold of you.

I think it's normal to be curious or want to look. The human body is a beautiful thing. Everyone is so uptight! I mean come on, it's just a picture! Porn isn't hurting anyone.

Anyone who gets a charge out of seeing brainless grown ups molesting kids, has a big problem. His brain is developing in an abnormal way. Not much better for straight sex.
If a person has hot you-know-whats and watches a picture of people having the sex that he would like to be getting, it's like a hungry ho-bo watching people stuff themselves like pigs. What is he supposed to get out of it ?
Porno is sick, those who watch it is sicker.

For me, I am ashamed to look at it now and wouldn't want to watch it. I used to watch it when I was younger and too young to watch porn. I ashamed of it now, but wouldn't watch it ever again.

There is nothing more beautiful than the human body, especially the woman.
How one reacts to it, that is the real judgement...
We did not wear clothes for millions of years...now we should feel guilty for wanting what we are hard-wired for?
Funny how we get just don't seem to mind the mass-marketing of say...murder? But sex, oh NO!!!

It depends on the reason you are checking it out. I have found out that it helps add a little spark to the love life, when it has gone down hill. **I only look or watch it with my husband, I feel odd checking it out by myself**
Admit it you would rather your man or woman watch it, instead of getting in on the action with someone else.
