Because he has hundreds of thousands if not millions of life long fans. I'm not one of them, but I know people who are. Especially people in the NY/NJ area where is from originally. Wouldn't you just keep on doing whatever if it was making you hundreds of thousands or millions of dollars?

Because he's been in the business for a good while now, his band and songs have stood the test of time, and he's widley respected as an artist. He's in it for the money, as are the rest of them. He's just a bit more successful than a lot of others.....so there tends to be some jealousy issues there. But I don't blame him, if I could lease my songs to commercials and movie sound tracks....I would also. It's easy money. Nothing wrong with that.......best of luck to you..........
