I am an aries and my husband of 12 years is a scorpio. We have the best marriage and get along very well. We even complete each other's sentences. Sometimes it seems as though we've been together forever.
But I guess it would depend if you are an aries female or male.

You go by the opposite of the zodiac wheel, so for Aries it would be Libra.
You can also go for signs that are in the same element as Aries (fire), such as Leo and Sagittarius.

well fom the magazine that I've looked at and stuff an aries does not mix with a taurus,Virgo or Capricorn....
