Where can I buy wholesale boutique clothing?

I am trying to open up a high-end boutique similar to Shopbop.com. Brands such as: Larok, Yaya, Juicy, Sky, Grail, Kors, etc..
Are there any trade shows or any first step that I should take?

The best routes to take are to research the process of starting a business as well as the industry you're interested in.
