Yeah, not the best film ever-- I had higher hopes.
As a whole piece of art, it makes no statement-- and the character remains unresolved in regards to his actions. If art's not making a statement about something, it shouldn't be out there. I mean, it wasn't a f--king documentary, but it watched like one.
The director should've been like, "Yo, I'm down for this subject matter," or, "I'm not for it," then made a film accordingly.

yes, but i didn't know anything about that part of history, i would suggest reading up on what went on to be able to understand the movie more. just to get the background of why the film was made

It's anti-semetic hate-filled propaganda. (For the ignorant, the Palestinians are semites.)
