Northwood is a nice area - or it was when I lived there about 4 years ago. It is as safe as anywhere is these days. Not too near the city but not too far either just right for being able to enjoy all the perks of the city while having somewhere quiet and pleasant to call home!

Yes. Northwood is a very nice area. It is a leafy suburb and is as safe as anywhere is these days.

A friend lived there a few years back and when I used to visit her, I remember how quiet and peaceful it was around there so I would say it's pretty safe but these days things can happen anywhere!!

Don't recall hearing much bad from there, at least no worse than anywhere else in the UK.

Try looking for the local papers from there on the net, they all do it nowadays.

Lovely and quiet - why are you worried? It's a suburb of London and part of Hillingdon Borough which can be rough in parts.
