If you've been dating someone for awhile now, or just women in general.

now i'm asking this out of curiosity, its not a serious question. so no mean answers or comments about this. i'm just wondering.

Ok, women in general:

1. Sometimes a pen is just a pen.
Women tend to overthink things that they really really shouldn't. Some also will take a minute detail and extrapolate it five years into the future and get angry that you're dating some 22 year old in the year 2011.

2. Don't believe the hype.
Ugh. The stars on the covers of magazines aren't celebrities - they're the geniuses sitting at computers working on PhotoShop. Every celebrity is touched up when they grace a cover, so do not believe that you can attain that beauty. Be happy with who you are and don't try to be Julia Roberts from Marie Claire.. as not even Julia Roberts looks like Julia Roberts on Marie Claire.

3. Womyn
Please - please don't go this route. If you're going to be a feminist, worry about the bigger picture of equal wages and glass ceilings. Spelling "women" by any other name doesn't change the condition.

4. It is better to give...
Y'know, just as it is nice to receive a gift out of the blue from your boyfriend - its nice for the boyfriend to get a gift now and again, too.

5. Boys
Inside each man is a 13 year old boy who still loves to play. Allow it. Let the guy play on the Xbox or play fantasy football or softball. Getting that out of our system will get us to the opera and ballet a lot faster than not.
