Well first of all relax and stop worrying , because tension also delays period. I am not very sure about what is seasonal period , actually never heard about it..and it sounds weird too...is that means that your body ovulates every few months? I would suggest u to check with other doctors and not rely on just one doctor ..Do some daily exercises, coz body fat delays period, I missed my period for few months when I grew lots of fat and then I was diagnosed with Hypo Thyroidism, so I would suggest u to do some blood tests, which are Thyroid profile (T3, T4, TSH), blood sugar, cholesterol, uric acid..and also some basic hormone profiles which a gyno will guide u best ..but till then start walking vigorously, drink enough water , make sure ur liver is clear ,and if u have doubt do take a home pregnancy test ...take care..

My cycles have also been screwed up my whole life. Now I am 33. Missing a period, means something is not right. In my case, I am obese, don't eat right, and after going to the doctor, I've found out that because of my obese state I have polycystic ovarian disease. I currently am not on medication but the doctor did prescribe hormone treatments to help. Also, being on the Birth control pill will help keep your cycles regular.

Go see the doc! There are about a thousand things that can stop your periods for a time. Talk to your doctor about your whole life and do not hold back. By law and medical practice your doctor cannot reveal anything about you to others. Get our information from the horse's mouth and not the other end. You are not some freak and you are not alone. Love to you.

Lots of things could be going on. You have a history of not being regular, so it sounds hormonal. Are you really thin, because that can do it too. At this age, you should be seeing your doctor at least once a year for a PAP and any time you have a problem. This my dear is a problem, you need to get an appointment, now, don't put it off, it's not safe.

This could be anything including some dire things go to the doctor have a full examination. What is the matter with people why do you think so little of yourself that you are not worth a complete physical from time to time. It amazes me that people will rush out to pay whatever price to keep themselves on the internet and won't have a checkup .... pallllllllllezzzzzzzze

when I was 19, I had the EXACT same problem and was diagnosed with PCOS, or polycystic ovarian syndrome (you do NOT have to be obese to have it--obesity does not cause pcos, unlike one poster posted. I am not obese.) There are a lot of other things that can cause it too, so you should definitely see your dr. You will probably need medical treatment no matter what you have, be it PCOS, endometriosis, pregnancy (I doubt you are pregnant, but you should definitely get it checked out just in case), stress, or whatever.

See your doctor, there could be lots of reasons. You could be stressed. Did you finish school, change jobs, move... Stress can cause your period to "go away" for a few months. I know when I started a new job and moved to a new state I didn't have mine for 4 months until things settled into a pattern. But see your doctor anyway.

Have you recently lost a lot of weight, or gained? Started an intense exercise program. Those things can cause it to stop. I would say definately see a doctor. It is probably nothing, but you need to be sure. It can also be a sign of other illnesses.

Pregnancy tests aren't 100% accurate. Go to your doc.
