I read a question that used the term :"******" I detest that term, but had to use it in my answer. Yahoo put ****** in the place of the word. Why would they allow the word to be used in a question and not allow it in an answer? In preview they edited it again. It is 6 letter word referring to black peple and starts with the letter"N"

If you look more carefully, you'll probably find that the word was NOT actually spelled out at all!

People often use an ! instead of an i for example. This is how they get round the rules...! The word you mention is sometimes spelt with 'ar' at the end to avoid it being censored!

For the same reason they deleted one of my questions. The words I used were nothing at all like that. They wasn't even close. As a matter of fact it was a slang word for a prostitute, but not a curse word.
