some strange ppl are in our backyard. they keep going between my neighbors and ours. only me and my bro are home. they might just be working on the phone line but our mom usually tells us if some guys are comig to work. what should we do, if we don't want to look like complete idiots?

Phone your neighbors to see if they called someone. If nobody home or they didnt call any working people, call the police.

Call the phone company and ask if anyone should be out there right now. If no, call the local police department or a neighbor you trust and ask them to stop by. Don't worry about looking like an idiot. If the people aren't there on official business, they are the idiots for trespassing. And if they are there on official business, they would have been wise to inform you they were in the area.

Lock the doors, close all thw windows. Keep an eye on them. In the mean time call 411 ask ask for the NON-emergency phone number for your local police department. You should keep this number handy anyway.
If they come to the house don't answer the door and call 911.

You should call an adult friend to come over and stay. Call your neighbors and see if they are aware of whats going on and if nothing else will make you feel safe call the police to come and take a look around.

Keep doors lock do not answer door if they knock on the door And Call the Police and Let them know what is going on,They will patrol your area and case out the joint to make sure they are there due to business.

Call your local emergency number (911) and talk to the dispatcher. Its better to look like a live idiot then a dead one. Never be afraid to call the police if you are truly scared. Or, call a trusted adult friend or relative to come over if you do think they are phoneline guys.

Call the police non-emergency line and tell them your situation. If its a public utility line that they are working on then they can trespass to do the repairs. Also, peek out on your street and see if you see their truck. It might have a phone number on it and you can call and ask what's going on.

right now don't do anything.
There is no reason to call the police or anything like that. You shouldn't talk to strangers...but look out the front door and see if there is a utility truck or something outside.

Stay in the house if you hear anyone trying to get in go into the bathroom and call 911!!

u should ask ur parents if they know them or anything if not tell ur parents whats going on or if u c them go over 2 ur neighbors house u never know if there bad guys or not but just keep on the safe side
