Yes,

because all though he is bad, he has good intentions: after surviving the Holocaust he simply wants to prevent the same treatment for Mutants because of societies fears of them.

I can't say I like Magneto as a character, but he's easily my favorite super-villain. He's a great bad guy because he's not just some random psychopath out to wreak havoc on the world. He has a cause, and he's willing to do anything to achieve his goals. You have to give him credit for that. He's a very charismatic leader, and it's often easy to see why people can won over to his cause.
He also bears a striking resemblance to certain not-so-super villains of real life. That makes him disturbingly believable as a bad guy.
And, you have to admit, he's got really cool powers.

yeah, actually i do (AH VILLAN SYMPATHIZER!!!)
i understand his viewpoint and why he is 'evil' i dont think he is the best person, but yes, i do like him
