you can't beat Morph or Bagpuss. Both of these are SO great to watch, especially again when you're an adult....

He-man & Dangermouse - "crumbs, Chief!!". Weren't Bagpuss, Trumpton & Camberwick Green from the 60s or 70s by the way? My parents remember them pretty well!! I know these aren't cartoons, but just for the record, I also loved Button Moon and the Fraggles. "Down the Sink" was fun too, as was Grotbags. Those were the days...
P.S. I think the things on the moon were the Clangers - which are also from the 70s I reckon.

Bagpuss rocks, oh yes !!!!!!!
Just recently bought complete series on dvd and it blows my mind. Also Chorton and the Wheelies, The Herbs, The Clangers.
Have to admit Dangermous takes some beating too.
That Poottle out of the flumps needed an attitude re-adjustment and a vics nasel spray though !!
Youre a great big kid arent you ?

Love trapdoor, and willow the wisp, also the poddington peas. Bagpuss used to scare the poo out of me and the smurfs did. I like the racoons with cyril sneer and that cartoon must have the best theme tune ever!!!!

Very few of the shows in that list are actually cartoons... most of them are other forms of animation. The Best three cartoons of the 80's (and hence all time) were Thundercats, He-Man & Jayce & the Wheeled Warriors though. All three of them should be given the treatment that the new He-Man remake series has benefitted from.

I absolutely loved the smurfs. I always wanted to be just like smurfette. I used to have nightmares about gargamel and his cat asriel.
The old ones will always be the best. Button moon was good too. an old baked bean tin but noone would have guessed back then.
Batfink,dangermouse,scooby do,the list is endless!!!!!!!!

that's a toss up between He-guy and Transformer G1 for me, yet once you communicate approximately that GhostBuster, the actual had made 2 actual-existence video clips. Adults and childrens ought to have enjoyed it So own flavor aside, i might say the actual Ghostbusters.
