I don't want to go on here with a 6 thousand word answer although I could.
I was on my way out of a window on the thirteenth floor of a motel and was caught by the feet by a co-worker. Believe me, "most" everything you hear or read about the life flashing before your eyes and related was definitely true for me.
I took the rest of the day off and proceeded to inundate myself.

Out-f***ing-rageous. My buddy and I rolled a Jeep down an insane incline. Neither of us were wearing seatbelts, nor did did we have a top on the vehicle at the time. We didnt actually even know that the grade was there until we were rolling sideways down to our deaths. The entire event only took about 90 seconds, but it seemed like we were there forever. By the time we hit the bottom of the hill, I thought I actually was dead, until the cops and fire department flipped the vehicle back over and we began, well I began, to walk away. My friend sustained a broken leg and a minor concussion while I suffered a severe loss of Jeep. It was pretty intense, the funny thing is that we didnt panic the entire way down, I just kind of thought "Well, here it is". It was incredible peaceful for an accident of that magnitude.

There was this one time when i was helping my dad move into our new house. Well he had some extra things that needed to be taken out to the garage and in our garage there is this pit where people used to change their oil and do things underneath their cars. Well i was walking backwards carrying a box helping my dad and i fell inside backwards. When i hit the bottom all i saw was this big bright light that was miving towards me and i could see my family flash before my eyes....It was amazing and i was happy the whole time.....like i didnt have a worry in the world. The pain didnt hurt anymore....that was until i woke up and actually felt the pain

I don't know what you call this experience but anyway I will tell you about it.
A few year ago after having surgery, I was in my room recovering. I felt I was walking around in the room, and when I saw the nurse I ran back to my bed. I open my eyes and see the nurse walking towards me ! it was weird and funny too.
I had another like this while I was asleep one time too.

i floated above the operating table and watched over myself for awhile. i must have visited other places as well. i remember tops of filing cabinets and window ledges too.
another, more interesting experience, is when a friend of mine passed, i took her through a tunnle to the light. though she was 21 years old when she passed, she was only 10, and in the children's choir on the other side.
before i left i got to see the choir of angel's where each angel was assigned one note to be sung simultaniously with the others, i got to see a rose grow from a seed to a succulant flower, dripping with moisture within a few seconds, and i got to see spirits, which were small twinkling beams of light, waiting to enter into new lives. it was all so overwhelmingly beautiful that it made me sad that i couldn't stay.
I now believe in reincarnation. I know that when we die,our spirit lives on forever.

My friend had a near death experience. He had car trouble and was walking to a phone and a car load of people stopped and for no reason at all beat, kicked and pistol whipped him to death. He was knocked out with the first blow, although he was knocked out and unconscious he could see everything that was going on, but couldn't fight back. As he was being beast to death he fell to the ground, then all of a sudden he was way far up in the air and was watching them beat, kick and pistol-whip him as his body lie on the ground. As he watched the scene of him being beat to death, the scene vacillated from the immediate scenes of the recent past to scenes of the near future, the scenes kept intertwining with no logical sequence of time as we know it. It was as if the past present and the future were all melted together. He felt no pain at all, even as he watched himself be beat to death. He only felt the love of God's embrace. He felt he couldn't wait to be in Heaven. He had no thoughts or consideration of going back to earth. Then the next thing he knew he was opening his eyes up about 6 hours later alongside the road. He stood up and saw the sky was starting to get light, then starting laughing and fell flat on his back out cold again, then once again about 2 hours later he again opened his eyes and in the bright morning he walked 6 miles home. Blood gushing from his head soaked his clothes from head to toe. He offered everyone he met $600.00 in cash that he had in his hand for a ride 6 miles, but no one would give him one. He was so beat he looked like he was made up for Hollywood movie, people must have thought it was a joke because he didn't look like a human being. When he got one mile from home a person picked him up and gave him a ride to his home. The only thing the person asked in return was from my friend was to sit and listen to some scripture

You should Read all three books that Brian L. Weiss M.D. wrote. The first one is called MANY LIVES MANY MASTERS. It will explain things. Oh and its not a hard core catholic or christian book or anything like that. It jsut talks about true stories and how peoples lives change Dramatically.

Near death is a second chance granted by Christ. If one learns from it, then they no longer take life for granted.

You don't think that you're dying....it just feels calm and peaceful.
what happens afterwards is the interesting part. Once you realize how close you've come, it changes your priorities in life and you let go of a lot of things that used to seem so important.
