children of bodom, there is no guitarist better than the almighty alexi laiho. theyve got some serious headbangin going on at their concerts. only band ive ever heard that has more talent than mettalica

I would see BB King and Joe Bonamassa, oh, wait I'll see them in August.
Why you ask? In today's music world, there are too many 1 hit wonders and bands who are famous for their image more than their music. Many of the modern "musicians" don't write their lyrics, don't know anything about how to play their instruments, and couldn't sing in key if their life depended on it.
Give me an 81 year old man who can sing and play (better than most) any day of the week.
Music is not dead, the fans are just misled by the industry!

Speaking of current bands, I'd go with Children of Bodom. If I could see a band back in the day, I would have seen Black Sabbath or Led Zeppelin or maybe a young Metallica

Either Fall Out Boy becasuse they are an awesome band with an awesome sound or Panic! At The Disco because they just plain rock out loud and their music isn't like the other stuff they play on the radio.

a band that's "still together": i would see Thousand Foot Krutch
i love their positive, Christian messages in their lyrics; the lead singer's voice is good; they ROCK!
a band that "broke up": i would like to have seen Nirvana.
they had such a great sound and energy!

Pnic! At the Disco. I saw them at the X-FEST and they were awesome. They're coming back to San Diego in Soma.
