For school I have to wear a uniform. The shirts are white, blue, and yellow. The skirts are navy blue. What eyeshadow colors would go best with my uniform? I don't want to be way too matchy but I want it to look nice.

Use earth tones: GOLDS, browns, even pinkish browns. Here is the thing.... since everyone has the same clothes, you want to have really awesome eyes and/or hair, to make you stand out a little. You don't have to be obnoxious, but find some really fun colors and styles that you love, and play with your look a little bit! =)

I'm not a huge wearer of make up... but I always thought that you were supposed to match it to your skin tone and not your clothes. That would just look strange if you were wearing the exact same color eyeshadow as your shirt. But that's just my opinion.

Don't match it with what you are wearing match your eye shadow with the color of your eyes.

For Blue Eyes:
1. Tried and True: taupe, gray, violet, purple, deep blue (a darker shade than your eye color makes your eyes really blue), black (mix it with bright blue for a smoky effect)
2. Funky Favorites: silver, turquoise, fuschia (brightens any shade of blue)

Green or Hazel Eyes:
1. Tried and True: brown, apricot, purple, plum, deep khaki or forest green (because they are in the same greenish family, they brighten green eyes)
2. Funky Favorites: gold, lime-green, really light green, bright purple (super modern)

Brown Eyes:
1. Tried and True: copper, bronze, champagne (soft pink with a touch of apricot), brown (for a doe-eyed look), beige, and khaki-green (lighter shades add highlight)
2. Funky Favorites: tangerine, royal blue, hot pink, lime-green (the contrast adds punch to brown)

All Eyes:
1. Tried and True (Classic): navy or charcoal base to define and a powder-blue shadow for highlighting (it brightens your brow bone so any eye color pops)
2. Funky Favorites: silver-sparkle shadow makes all eyes look edgy.

I agree with toxic advil....besides-those colors are hideous!! Go with what makes the uniform BETTER. MY old uniform was red, white and blue...It was horrible.

it depends on your eyes, hair and skin tones in addition to the colors....since it's a school uniform issue, i would say use neutral colors except on spirit days or special occassions

Go natural, and light in color. Some eyeliner in dark blue or black, but again light, not too dark.
