I've repeatedly been told that Florida's pulic schools are deficient and they're among the worst in the country. I have NO idea if that's true or not, and have not found a way to compare Florida's public schools to those in other states. any ideas??

Visit the main Department of Education of the states you wish to compare.

You will get a good idea of how a school system is doing, what the core curriculum standards are, etc.
