Both of my babies used the playtex nurser and did very well. I never had problems with them having excessive gas or spitting up. One of my friends recently had a baby and switched to playtex after trying Advent and Dr. Browns. She too has had better luck with Playtex.

I use the playtex nurser and I never had to give my baby gas drops, it was never a problem. Don't know if it's because of the bottle or what.

The nurser is a great choice. My son did well with it. But I still rely on mylicon drops to knock out the gas pains, they work like magic!
The Dr. Brown's were good too, but they are so hard to clean. The vent system comes with a little pipe cleaner that isn't easy to keep up with...they are just too much work.

I ONLY used the playtex nurser with all 3 of my children. I really liked it. You can get the air out of those better then any other. I also used mylicon drops for gas, and they do work wonderfully. But i noticed less gas in my babies, then in my sisters kids who used regular baby bottles.

for my section, Avent has continuously been super with the two considered one of my youngsters particularly. i've got heard good stuff approximately Playtex Nurser, yet what deterred me from employing those bottles have been the disposable liners.

I mainly used the playtex nursers, AND the mylicon drops. You can get the drops in a generic formula... They are the best.

There is a bottle called the Dr. Brown bottle. It has a vent system that helps eleviate gas pains. My son suffered from gas pains and the dr recommended this bottle. It is amazing! I would seriously try it!

I loved the nurser system for my daughter. it worked so well for her that i used it on my second daughter when she was born too. For gas though I really liked milicon. its safe, gentle and it works almost instantly. and it comes in dye free so it doesnt stain the cute baby clothes.maybe give that a try too.

i agree with Jen.. Dr.Brown's is a wonderful bottle!!! My four year old was very colicky, gassy, and had reflux and of ALL the bottles we tryed, and there were many, Dr.Brown's worked the best!!!
Also what helped him was having his formula a little warmer than room temperature...
for some reason this helped him..
