I had implantation bleeding with both of my succesful pregnancies, didn't with the ones that ended in miscairrage. It's normal to have implantation bleeding, but most women don't know that is what is going on. Just looks like either an early, light period, or a little spotting. Sometimes there are cramps in conjunction with the bleeding, it all depends on the woman.

There is volidaty to the statement that implantation bleeding doesn't cause pregnancy. That's what implantation bleeding is- it's when the zygot/fetus attaches to the uterine wall. That means the pregnancy has implanted in the uterus and is established up to that point.

Not true. Implantation ONLY occurs in woman that are definitely pregnant. If you experience bleeding and are not pregnant then it wasn't impantation bleeding.
I think that too many woman look for implantation bleeding as a sign of pregnancy when the truth is that most woman never even have it. I experienced it in my first pregnancy but not in my current one.
Implantation bleeding occurs when the fetus attaches itself to the uterus. If there is not baby then there is no implantation.

it may just be the stress of either trying to conceive or being afraid of being pregnant and that has caused their periods to become light. Which may be confused with implantation bleeding.

Every one is different. I didn't have any bleeding but my sister did and both of us have health babies. There is never a sure way to tell.
