theres a pair of shoes i've been dying for...they're very pricey but i found a good deal, and even though i shouldn't, i want to get them anyway. its a girl thing. what do all the other girls out there think i should do? go for it? or save up and buy them later?

This all depends. Do you have children to support? Will you have to borrow money for rent or food if you buy these shoes? If you really, really want them, give up something in order to have them so you don't feel guilty. For example, make sure that you don't eat out for a month after you buy them. Something like that should help keep your budget balanced and it should also help keep you from feeling bad for a reward that you might not be able to afford.

well, even you said your shouldn't. I'd sit on it for a while to make sure your REALLY want them. And in the meantime save up some money so you don't have to feel so guilty if later you still can't stop thinking about them and want to go for it.
Oh, and a good way I see if I should get something expensive is if I can pay in cash. If I can't pay for it outright, then I can't afford it!

I say save up expecially since your in college you'll need it for more important things. Now if you have way more money than you can handle i say go for it, but make sure you think it through carefull before buying them because you may not want them after a few weeks of having them.

I LOVE SHOES, when I see a pair I must have I can't wait so if you found a good deal and you really like them go for it. You don't want to risk saving up and they do not have your size THAT WOULD SUCK

If it is hard for you to find shoes you really like, then buy them. But if you have a million pairs already, just save your money.
