There are lots of chemical products that will solve your problem. However, if you would rather avoid all the chemicals around your yard, plants, vegetables, not to mention you, the kids, or your pets, then check this out:
Diatomaceous Earth will kill anything with an exoskeleton, beetles, ants, roaches, aphids, white flies, mites, pretty much all of your basic bugs. Best of all it will not harm humans or pets or your plants.

Get it here, theirs is food grade, which is the only kind you want. If you find it at a local garden center be certain that it is food grade, you do not want the other kind.

a good way to prevent them is to get rid of any weeds before they start to die. The whiteflies will be attracted to the dying plants and then will attack your veggies or whatever else you have.
