It's a pretty close call, but i'd have to say.........Julia Roberts. Even tho Halle can play a few different types of roles, Ms.Roberts is a bit more of a dramatic actress, but not over the top type of dramatic. She is more beleivable and makes her roles more realistic.

Better between Hally Berry and Julia Roberts? I say Julia Roberts. I think she has the greater capacity to demonstrate a wider range of common emotions. Maybe not the more dramatic and complex ones, but she expresses a more universal sentiment that we relate to well.

Other. Julia Roberts plays the same character again and again; she has no range. And Halle Berry just plays stupid roles or ruins them.
Who is better?--Nicole Kidman, Rachel Weisz, Uma Thurman, Emmy Rossum, Cate Blanchett, and Kate Winslet to name just a few.

I find them to both be overrated. Julia Roberts doesn't push herself into different roles anymore. She plays the same person in every film she's in. Halle Berry reaches a bit now and then, but I find them to be quite boring.
