What is your experience with Cingular? Do your calls drop? Please let me know. I am thinking about changing cell carriers and would like to know other's experiences with the company.

I work for Cingular, and have previously owned phones from Nextel, Verizon, T Mobile and Cingular. I am convinced that the only two carriers worth looking at are Cingular, and Verizon...and I really believe that Cingular just edges out Verizon by a little bit right now, mainly because of the superiority of Cingular's GSM network to Verizon's CDMA network. It's just a better way of transmitting wireless signal. You'll hear good stories and horror stories about EVERY company depending on who you talk to, but the truth is, is that Cingular and Verizon are as good as you're going to get in the US at the present.

I have Cingular, and have been using it for around a year now. I had AT&T before, and then Cingular bought them out. I am very satisfied with the service. The only time that I have lost calls is when I have gone out of coverage. I live in a rural area, and there are a few back roads that do not have coverage. The only negative that I can think of are all of the B.S. charges that they add on to the bill. Many of the things on a cell bill that are labeled as taxes are not actually taxes, but rather charges that the cell company puts on. Also, when I signed up with Cingular, the automatically (and without informing me) singed me up for their $2.95/mo roadside assistance. I have AAA, so I don't need this. It was simple to cancel. I think that overall Cingular is a good choice. Oh....rollover minutes rule. Any leftover minutes that you have each month are put aside to use if you go over your monthly useage. Nice to have. I have cingular and I love it...i havent never had a dropped call and the calls come in clear, I say go with cingluar

I have Cingular Service..
From 1 to 10 I rate it 7..
I have no choice.. Tmobile is the worse in my location..
Tell you what.. It all depends where you are located.. Don't go based on what Service provider..
Im located here in NYC Cingular here is the best!! When I go down to Florida.. Tmobile is the best!! Cingular is the worst..

I had Cingular and they were awful!!They would always screw up the bill so it was sky high each month.I wouldn't get them.If ur a big talker good luck finding a plan.
Y not look into Nextel they have free incoming plans that start at $39.99 a month.Thats what I have and I talk around 6000 cell min. a month and I never get charged extra.

Don't know about cingular, But my Verizon I am very happy with. I have had no complaints with whatsoever.

i have it and a razor.hate the razor and think cingular has its share of dropped calls
