In all honesty, yeah, I would be kind of embarrassed also if that happened to me when I was with a friend - then again, I get embarassed easily. Question is, what does "screaming" do??? If you don't like insects, fine - but I think you should try to work on a bit more self control so that the screaming thing can be a thing of the past. Just take a deep breath. Try to look at it rationally, they are tiny bugs, not huge monstrous things standing there waiting to rip you to pieces. You can do this, try whatever works. Grip your friend's hand and hold your mouth tightly shut and walk by as quickly as possible. Worth a try... Good luck1

I really hate bugs & I admit I have screamed when one was on me, but as much as I hate bugs, I don't scream when I just SEE one. You might need some medication.
