Alright, I go to a prep school, right? And we have like 11 cliques in my class, but I fit into all of them except for the nerdy boys. But my problem is the clique that I was in kind of....I don't know...just stopped liking me. It's a small school, and I know everybody, but what do I do to make new friends. Like a bff? I'm going into 10th...help!! (The school only has 300 people)

Seriously, though, I was in kind of the same situation when I was in high school. I had fun floating from table to table, but then one day I realized I was floating so much that I didn't have any actual friends. So I picked a group and started hanging out with them on a regular basis. I wasn't exclusive--I still talked to everyone who wanted to talk to me, but I actually hung out with only one group. If you fit into all of the cliques at your school, pick one and try to get to know them the best. It won't make you a snob as long as you are still nice to everyone and broaden your horizons and occasionally hang out with someone new if they want to hang out.
