You tie the shirt using regular patterns then bleach the shirt and rinse. If you want colors, add them to the bleached part of the shirt, wait 24 hours, rinse, and dry.

I'm wondering if you don't do the colors first and keep it wrapped then dye it black last? I wonder if it's possible to tye dye black?

If the shirt is already black, you have to bleach it. Otherwise, you won't be able to see the colored dyes. Once it's bleached you can tie-dye it.

Bleach. But it will only be that brownish color. I wonder if you added a little bit of different color dyes into the bleach if that would work, it will probably just kill the color. I have always wondered if that would work.

You get dye for clothing, you can buy them at the store by the laundry detergent and soap. it's in a little box with 2 packages in them.
