Anyone who thinks global warming is a lie is an absolute retard! Why don't you look at the political and monetary motivation behind the cover up and then you will realize why the government is telling you not to panic that everything will be okay. Giant oil companies like Exxon and Mobil are making BILLIONS of dollars every month on the sale of crude oil, gasoline, and other petroleum products, and contributing a large portion of that to certain political parties in order for them to turn and look the other way while the whole planet turns for the worse. And Americans are so concerned with the insignificant aspects of their menial lives like American Idol or being able to stuff their faces with McDonald's that they have no idea about what is going on in the world a round them. Get a clue don't be blinded by the Bullshit you're fed through the television, it's rotting your brains! You can't fool all the people all the time, but if you fool the right ones the rest will fall in line.

In a perfect world you would be absolutely close in your thinking. What about the car that runs on water? That sounds even better. But the reality is how many do you think are going to be willing to take a gigantic loss on their $40,000 vehicle to drive a hybrid. Yes the Hybrids are making great strides in the style and choices, but its going to take a long time to phase from one technology (that is a standard the world over) to the new. People love the Wind and Solar Solutions (we use solar a lot here in Florida to heat pools and water tanks), but even Ted Kennedy was not too excited about having all those windmills off the coast of his home ruining his view. So you are going to have to fight the human condition that want the alternatives, but don't want to be inconvenienced to get them.

We can't. There is nothing we can do to stop global warming in 10 or even 100 years. First, there's no proof that the current small warming trend is not due mainly to solar activity and natural climatic shift. Second, there's no proof that anything we do will have any impact on it.

It might be better to put our money into a government program designed to start developing the technologies to control the Earth's climate. Because that technology does not exist today.

Waste $8 bucks and go see AlGores movie on a problem that is fictional anyway. The earth always goes through heating and cooling cycles. In fact, in the 70's, all the environmental nut jobs were saying that we were heading for another ice age. Also, this isn't the warmest cycle we've ever been in by any means. I do think we need to do reasonable things to protect the environment but we don't need to go overboard.

We can't. The world is heating up naturally. Think about the cycles the planet has gone through. The world was hot and humid 65 million years ago with the dinosaurs. Then about 1 million years ago, we had an ice age. Now we are warmer. Just looking at those three facts, we are naturally on the way to a warmer planet.

It is a HOAX...wake up! The world has gone through numberous climate changes in the past. I mean think about how many years the earth has been around...just picture it.

Now, think about how many years we have been recording temperatures and documenting climate changes. Gee, not that long right...maybe a few hundred years...but the earth is much much older and probiblyu gone though lots of warming and cooling trends...

Like I said earlier...Global Warming is a HOAX...

Al Gore is big on this. Here's a suggestion. Tell him and the Government loosers to stop flying around our beautiful country on their private jets that burn more fuel in one trip than you do in a lifetime! Plus take a taxi instead of their five vehicle motorcade that each get 4 miles to a gallon. Try that first, it's called lead by example!

Mechanical and electronic devises generate heat. Reduce usage to essentials only. Reduce airconditioning/heating and get aclimated! We need to stop pushing unwanted cold/heat out of our homes/cars out into nature-space in our accidental terra-deforming.
Switch to solar ASAP. Other ambiant sources are good too, but as all light frequencies (except ultraviolet) are heat based, solar cells/panels absorb some degree of that heat, converting it into electricity. What %? I don't know.
Scientists should attempt some small scale terraforming, as in moving city-accumulated ozone into the upper atmosphere. We need more nitrogen, too, but rising volcanic activity will soon remedy that. Maybe even some heat reduction, too.

Good luck, geniusses - you know have vital purpose!

We can eliminate it by working together, but of course that will never happen right people?? No one cares about what happens in 10 years, I'm sure everyone is thinking how they are gonna look in 10 years or what job will I have, will I be married, you know stuff like that. I say don't be lazy and walk or jog, don't litter it may not help alot but it's a start.
