What do you see within yourself, Im not talking about bones, blood and internal organs...Im speaking of what do you see when you look inward...How does it make you feel what you see..? What do you think that others see of you, if they can only see your outsides...do they match?

Thank you!

What I see within:

I see a beast crouched and ready to pounce. I lie to myself about how nice I am, but I know the beast is there. Glimpses. Cut off in traffic. Glimpse of Teeth. On hold for 15 minutes with an automated call waiting system. Glimpse of claws. Beautiful young lady walks by my window. Glimpse of...savage. Pack away the animal. Push down the beast. Smile. I know the truth. Why am I civilized? Respect for others? Spiritual faith? Morals? No! FEAR! Hold it down, never let it go. Someone will get hurt. Someone might die. Take it. Take it some more. Take it. Take it. Hang on long enough and it will be over. How much longer can I live all alone in this shell? I better get back to my room tonight, lock the door and hide.

What others see of me:

"What a nice young man. He's a good provider. He's very creative and has a good sense of humor. He must have a lot of friends. I'll bet after the show he's the life of the party. I wish I could be more outgoing like him."

Yes the question clearly implies the query about possibility beyond sense organs ! Yes, and that is what spirituality is all about. With an attempt to 'look' into deeper levels of consciousness, newer dimensions open up and when the quality of 'awareness' enhances, the experience within happens consciously. It happens in stray, unguarded moments to most people, and hence goes un-noticed. One can clearly feel the self as distinct from the gross body. Experience of life happens at a deeper level ! One can also feel the pure intelligence unshackled from the incessant chattering of the mind.

well what i see when i look at my inner self is a kind hearted man, willing to help others in need. but i also see a person who cannot understand why a relationship is such a challenge. i just realized s few days ago that what i think is important isn't. i should be a litle more compaionate in what they want and not what i want. i have a strict rule of thumb if ya don't give 100% then se ya later. so is this wrong? as for how others see me is a happy person who they can depend on..and i see a person who is shy, cannot speak his mind and is self concious about they way he looks...and they do not match.

GREAT QUESTION!!!
The only service a friend can really render is to keep up your courage by holding up to you a mirror in which you can see a noble image of yourself.
—George Bernard Shaw

within myself i see potential, even at 40, i see the potential to fulfill my desire to "matter" not just be matter......to those outside my family..
i see the passion and optimism that carries through, moments of doubt...
i see a seeker, the asker, who listens to the answers given, deriving the wisdom needed for the here and now...and the later.
i see a survivor, who chooses to do more...then merely survive in this lifetime...i see the need to thrive, LIVE, to taste all life has to offer.

i think others see confidence, courage and caring.

i think they match
thank you...i needed that today :D

First keep the peace within yourself, then you can also bring peace to others.

I see energy. Flowing like a calm river. I see fear, I see uncertainty. I see joy and wonder. I am a jumble of everything that makes up me. I hope others open up enough to see some of it too. It's not all beauty and finery, but it's me and my struggles. I hope to see more of it myself. I am just not always able to look so honestly at myself. It's painful sometimes, joyous other times.

"I SEE THE LORD HIGH AND LIFTED UP"
and when i see that i feel good about myself, hey i have no ego!(smile)
"A meek, humble and quiet spirit is of a high price."
when you meet someone who is sweet on the inside as well as the outer, you've seen a person who is empowered by something greater than them to make a change for the better.

I see a river inside of me, flowing wildly to the seams of the wind. I see atoms clustering around me because I am sparkling with energy a lot of the time. I see a gentle flame that people all gather around, wher epeople cozily sit next to you and enjoy being around. :}.

I am emotionally aware. I am conscious. I am the sum of my experiences. I am ego- and id- syntonic. I am perceiving. I am thinking. I am perceiving that I am thinking.
