Go to the City Hall and get the records. Find out the name of the previous families and look in local records...Deaths, taxes, etc. Also find a local historian or utilize our much appreciated elderly people in the community to help you with local history. Try the library too. You can start calling your ghosts by first name then.

Go to the deeds office in your courthouse, they should be able to provide you with info on previous owners. Once you have that in hand head to a local historian or library for answers on those people.
