No, but you should stay away from synthetic vitamins. There is nothing found in nature containing 500 mgs of ascorbic acid. Focus on whole food supplements where there is published research (in credible journals) of product efficacy. Anyone can make exaggerated claims or have some doctor "on the payroll" make a tesimonial. The real difference is in the PROOF.
