um, the earth isn't floating, it's stuck in the suns gravitational pull. it can never get too heavy.

Since no more mass is being created even though humans are expanding and more construction as you ask, the Earth doesn't really weigh more... it actually weighs less because we are destroying resources which become pollution in the atmosphere (ie. burning of fossil fuels becomes smoke)...
If anything, the earth will begin spinning faster until it shrugs us off and starts anew!

construction.... well the materials were already here on earth to begin with so that weight never changed..... as far as the people, population has grown... but the skinny people in Africa help keep the balance with all the fat people everywhere else....... hows that....
maybe were not floating, just falling the same speed as the moon and sun?

The question is not crazy. It has nothing to do with buildings. But with the weight of items launched into space every year, is that more then the amount of space items that crash into earth and form dust as they destroy them selves comming through our atmospher. With what we send up, is it a balance gain or loss of mass?
That is a good question.

As the earth is "floating" in Dark Matter, the question is purely academic
