where your pores are very visible usually the nose try the concealer first then apply the minerals like instructed swirl tap buff if you have the mineral vale it really helps to hide a lot when applied at the end almost like an instant airbrushing
a good tip is NOT to apply make up with a magnified mirror you will be covering things that are other wise unnoticeable which will make you look over made
you want it to look natural and soft not gunked up and gooey

I use bare minerals and I love it !!! A few tips that work for me :
If you wear contacts, put them in AFTER you put on the bare minerals, they powder tends to attach to the lenses. Make sure you only use the specially designed kabuki brush to put on the make up. Other brushes just dont work. Swirl the brush in the container to pick up the powder, then swirl the brush in the lid, tap off the excess, gently brush this first application all over your face, repeat this process several times until you have to coverage that you want. I usually do this about 3 times instead of just putting one coat on my entire face, it just seems to look more natural. I also make sure to brush some onto my jawline and down onto my neck just to blend.
Use a very thin application of the mineral veil using the same steps as with the makeup, but only apply once. dont layer on the mineral veil.
I think the main thing is to brush very lightly, dont rub the make up on, and the use of the kabuki brush is critical.
Hope you like yours as much as I do mine. Ive found that over time, the makeup really does make your pores smaller and it really does make your skin look healthier, so have patience and enjoy!!!!!!!

I put Mineral Veil on before I apply anything. It helps to keep oil under control all day and its a good base for the rest of the application
