Either only drop it about 1 mm or else pad it heavily. This exercise is one that is done in some university engineering and architecture classes, where students actually drop a (padded) egg from a balcony onto concrete, praying that it won't break.

Turn it into a rubber egg. Here's what you do. Get a glass or bowl put the egg in it and cover it with vinegar over night. In the morning it will be rubber!!

Boil the egg for a couple hours and then let it sit in Vinegar overnight

2 ways that I know off

1. Let egg be submerged overnight in vinegar..it "rubberizes" the shell

2. surround egg in foam insulation..it should stop the egg from cracking

Wrap A whole lot of syran wrap around it and aim with the pointest thingy down,

PS bout an inch of saran wrap should do it
