The bible itself is not fake but the ideology is an idea.
The bible is based off opinions. I don't understand how believing in something which does not show itself. Which wants us to say forgive me every Sunday. Which makes us feel like all we do is do wrong.
The bible is yes a metaphor written so those can interpret in many ways causing way for many religions to form. Yet any god from any religions does not show itself.
When you die people say you are in Heaven. Per the bible you are awaiting the coming of your lord to take you and judge you.. Even you believers interpret that wrong. Yes if there is life outside of this world(which there is, to think otherwise is to be a complete nut) the bible would then be nothing but a book, a magazine, a newspaper you throw away after its use..

The Bible is fake. It's kinda f*cked up that religions are based off the writings in a book written by man, when in this very book it says man is flawed. I think if life were found on other planets, religious people would find an excuse to make reason out of it. Like it was some missing chapter that was stolen from the original draft. I don't know, something stupid like that I guess lol.

Not at all... while the Bible says that God created us in 'His own image and likeness'... nowhere is it mentioned that he didnt create others like us, more mentally advanced than us or inferior to us. While Adam and Eve were supposedly banished from Paradise, (metaphorically = human life established on earth) nothing is said of what happened to all other creatures, or that no more were created after that. You arent supposed to take the Old Testament literally.. every story in it is a metaphor, to be interpreted.. and which can be done only by very few, who understand. Like Nostradamus' Prophecies, nothing is mentioned directly -- the people who wrote th Bible also feared for their lives similarly. Nothing is mentioned in the Bible about computers - that doesn't mean the Bible is fake!

wow do I disagree with Nicole. The Bible is absolutely valid, true and has stood the test of time. The Bible is accurate in every way, even though you may not understand it. Life on other planets is not confirmed nor denied in the Bible. The Bible was meant for us and everything God wrote in there through inspiration to man was what he wanted us to know. We don't understand it all, and that's fine. Our minds will never comprehend what God knows or even what He says in His Word. Only when we die will we know more. For now, just focus on the fact that this world has enough to worry about and handle, why look for life elsewhere when we can't even handle the ones on this planet?

If is a very big word . If there were intelligent life out there it would have said so in the Bible . He made man in His image , what image would He make an alien . No , we are unique and that is a fact . I don't believe they will find any life out there because we are the only life that is here in the universe . It don't seem logical , but God is so much higher than us we will never understand some things .

The Bible shows that God created the Universe/Earth/Man. No where does it say that God did not create life elsewhere.

there might be life on other planets, such as bacteria. but the earth has been proven to be the perfect distance from the sun. with all the the right amount of gases and solids. I think we are safe from finding life on mars.

I don't think so. I think it would mean that God simply gave us one way to look at the world and realized that we couldn't let alone other civilizations if we knew that existed.
