I think they do. They have a brand new stadium, new jerseys, and the Edge (James). Teams that get new stadiums and jerseys in the past seemed to have turned things around and played better. (Example: Tampa Bay Bucs)

I hope so but I won't believe it till I see it. I have always wanted to see them have just one great season since I have never seen it before. It's weird but, from my observations, changing uniforms does seem to have an impact on how the team does.

If you are solely relying on a new stadium and new jerseys, then the Cardinals will not reach the playoffs. Even if you use the "new look" philosophy, teams that have undergone these changes still had a another couple of seasons to improve (ex. Bengals, Patriots, Falcons).

Offensively, they have upgraded incredibly. Edgerrin James gives Kurt Warner the RB presence similar to Marshal Faulk's early days. With a WR corps that includes Anquan Boldin, Larry Fitzgerald, and newly acquired Leonard Pope, the secondary will have hell to deal with. The offensive line has been questionable in the past, but adding Lutui from USC should help solidify the right side.

Antrel Rolle will return and give the defense what they need: a boost of viciousness that has been sorely missing. Calvin Pace should also be extremely beneficial to the Cardinal's chances to reassert their defensive measure.

They have a chance, but I am actually leaning towards the following season for the Cardinals to be in place for a serious playoff run (and Warner will still be there since he will be unlikely to relinquish his job quickly to Leinart).

As for the Bucs (as you mentioned earlier), it was not the look that turned things around for them ... it was Tony Dungy (and Jon Gruden should thank Tony for all the work he put in to creating a nearly demonic defense when Jon took over).

I think the team is better because of its staff with James coming on and Leinhart in the wings waiting to take over. I personally do not think the new jerseys and stadium mean that much in regards to winning. The Texans have a new stadium and new jerseys and they have not done much. The TB Bucs also got a new coach, a great draft, a couple key free agents and then won the Super Bowl. Their stadium and jerseys did not have an effect upon their Super Bowl run and win.

What about expansion teams? they get brand new stuff and will always come playing like crap. Basing how well your team will perform because of a new stadium and jerseys is ridiculous. They will be better because Denny Green has become a master at working their roster. They will be better because they have Anquan Boldin, Larry Fitzgerald, Antrel Rolle and now the recently acquired Matt Leinart and Edgerrin James. They can make a choice like the Bengals did. Use this year to have Leinart get experience, and be great next year, or use Warner and be moderate for the next 2 years.

Sure they do. All teams right now have a chance to make the playoffs. I don't know where you are getting the crap about new jerseys though. The chargers have changed jerseys before and done absolutely nothing. The bengals changed jerseys a bunch and it only was last year that they made it to the playoffs.

they have some large youthful gamers: Ian Kennedy, Daniel Hudson, Justin Upton, Chris youthful... Ryan Roberts has been a large marvel this 365 days. although, they actually have inconsistent gamers. Kelly Johnson is composed of ideas. Miguel Montero has been having an usual 365 days. regrettably, they fairly in ordinary words have 2 reliable starters: Kennedy and Hudson. Joe Saunders has been a no-call because that his fantastic performances with the Angels. i imagine that in a special branch, possibly. yet adversarial to the Rockies and Giants... it is going to likely be real not ordinary.

they have to get by the seahawks and rams. Rams have drastically improved. Corey Chavous is our new strong safety. pisa Tinoisamoa is a sure tackler. We drafted Tim Mcgarigle. We have the best tackle tandem in Alex Barron and Orlando Pace. I doubt the Cardinals will make the playoffs.

They are getting a good mix of talent put together in Arizona. Now how will it all be utilized and made the most of? That and some luck (injuries, etc)....we'll see. At least it looks like they are on the right road to building some success.
