If this will make you feel better, scientists say it is better not to make your bed right away. If you let it air out, it is not so conducive to the breeding of dust mites and all those other little critters that live off of us.

Just do it! It is a small step towards organization! When you wake up do your thing (use the bathroom, get a drink etc..) When you return to the bedroom to get clothes make your bed first EVERY TIME!!!! No exceptions....eventually it will become a habit. As far as being motivated....I dont know how to make you excited about bed making LOL,all I can say is that let the idea of a tidier room be your motivation!
OK I gotta go make my bed now hee hee

You know that program Room Raiders..?? Well just pretend each morning that you know they're coming to your house, and that there's the possiblility of a hot girl to help UNtidy your bed.

I know it sounds like a lot of work, but try re-arranging your bedroom. Giving it a new look may give you the ambition to make the room look nicer. You might even find something you've been looking for.

Imagine that if you do not make your bed then an army of angry monkies and evil teddy bears will attack you at various points through out the day. And also, chuck norris.

Tell your parents to give you money for doing your bed so you will earn money doing your bed and you will want to make more often.

just don't do it.... no one really looks that closely at your bed. besides, they have done a study, and i forget why, but they found out it was actually better for you if you didn't make your bed. it was on oprah or something, it may be somewhere on the internet

here is a site that it is on:

think about bringing someone home later for some fun, its more comfortable to roll around on a made bed because you don't have bunches of blankets making it uneven.

maybe u don't need a bed, you deserve to sleep on the floor that's hard and cold .......if u think abt it that way then u'll certainly make your bed every morning.

what's the point? all you're doing is covering up all of those microscopic dust mites and lets not forget the dead skin that flakes off of your body every night. the right question would be 'how often do you wash your sheets'?
