apple store is the only way to get it fixed. best buy wont do anything. you have to make an appointment with the store near you online also. if its to old they might not be able to get it fixed cause the old ipods were never meant to be opened and looked at. you might just have to upgrade

It depends if it is on sale between $79 for shuffle, IPOD can range from $150-200.

well in boston we have a mac store but online is good. a cheap one like a nano is like two to three hundred dollars but the battery life on it is long

if you google (or yahoo) ipods it will give you sites what will give you different prices for them from different websites
but also consider other brands of mp3 players...a lot of em out there have additional features that apple hasn't included in theirs yet.
