The "slim" PS2 already has the network adapter built into it, so all you need a router and an ethernet cable.

All you do is connect your ethernet cable to any open port in your router, the other end in the back of the PS2, and turn on your PS2.

Try going online and it'll tell you that you havent set your user settings, so go ahead and follow the instructions to do that.

Alternately, the PS2 might have come with a "network" disc that will walk you through the set-up process.

Buy a PS2game that has a networkplaylogo and of course you need a fast Internet connection.Just put the internetcable in the PS2 and go.
YOU DON'T NEED THE ADAPTER for the slim PS2.It's already inside

The Network Adapter. You could probably find it in any Gamspot or gaming retailer store. Or try Amazon.com or Ebay
