my son is 10 he has bipolar and my other son told me when they go to there dads he sneaks and smokes well my husband went to go to work and his smokes was gone how do i punish him for this so he will never do it again i try to keep him busy he is playing football and i dont believe in hard core spanking so any ideas please.

teach him the best you can ....my friend had to eat some and he still smoked ...so ....good luck ..... btw....you answered my ? so i had to let you know ...that 22 yr old and my friend have only been dateing for about 5 weeks now and she doesnt work and he's a real idiot...lol... i know age doesnt really matter but damn !!!!!! i think he got lucky cause he never got a good looking girl like her ....later

with kids in this world it is so hard to anything. The important thing is that you have found this out about your son . Maybe try to talk to him about the dangers of smoking. You may ask him why he feels he needs to smoke cigs. And my advise to you is sit down take a break and relax. Everything will be alright.

whos smoking?the kid with bipolar or the other son?If its the other son he may just be doing it for attention.Arevyou focusing on the sone with bipolar and ignoring the other one?Maybe he needs someone to talk to,to get his feelings out.

have you talked to the father since this is where it's happening at. you need communication with him. buy him some literature to show the devastasting effects of smoking.
also, take away something he enjoys - playstation, whatever as a form of punishment = but keep your relationship open with your son. good luck

Why don't you show him pics of what his organs will look like after years of smoking, take him to a hospital and have him visit with lung cancer, emphysema, or oral cancer patients. Hopefully this will be a rude awakening of sorts. Good luck!
