get your facts straight first.
Coulter could hardly lift from a planned parenthood pamphlet if she is making an arguement against them. She might use the wording of planned parenthood against them, but that is hardly lifting.
patterning software is unreliable at best. it is the same type of algorythim that uses the "bible code" BS. Flawed.
Research the political history of the professor who brought the "charges" and you will see the whole picture.
Coulter is not a good writer, whatever her opinions, because like the left she hates, she reliees more on rhetoric than facts and reason. But plagarism is a far call from what the article says, and even more ridiclous given the context of the passages. By this professors attitude, The DaVinci code lifted from Holy Blood Holy grail...which anyone reasonable knows is BS as well.

after reading your link i don't know if it can be called a scandal.
do you remember that you read something 15yrs ago? and if you used it not remembering that you did would you be guilty of plagarism.strictly speaking yes,practically speaking,no.
i never thought she represented her book as an academic work.it is a book written to express her opinion.

This woman is out for publicity and no-holds barred is putting it mildly. I have not read her book yet but did watch her on a talk-show hoping that it would give me a better understanding for her viewpoint. I came away more astounded at her total vitriolic nature than before.
