usually iPods don't range by songs..but by memory. More memory, more expensive (usually a 50-60 dollar difference). The songs are an estimate (using average 3 minute songs). However if you like "Bohemian Rhapsody", "Beethoven's 54 Symphony" or any other 8 minute song, then you could propbably hold 12,363 songs....

It is true. A 30GB iPod can carry 10,000 songs. A 60GB one can hold 20,000. I don't think there's one big enough to hold 30,000. The price does range. The smallest ipod I think can hold 120 songs and is $100. And the biggest one costs I think $450.

Yes. The 30,000 song model is the 30GB (gigabyte) video, costing about $300. The 50,000 model is the 60GB Video going for $400

Yes. there is a difference in price, but I would go with a Creative, Rio, or iRiver. iPods are losing their popularity after Creatives last MP3 Player with tons of new features.

Yes, there are many different types of ipods, and they all have different amounts of data they can hold and are priced accordingly. You can view them all right on their web site at http://www.apple.com/ipod/.

i have amini which they dont make anymore, but nanos have the same capacity and rock, they hold between 1,000 and 1,500 songs and are 4g to 6g, which is all you need, and only cost $153. the prices go up from that, but you dont need that, if you get a video, they're about 60-80g and hold movies.
