Old Navy, Gap and Banana Republic are owned by the same company. Old navy quality is not much lower than Gap but the prices are lower. Styles are certainly the same.
My vote is Old Navy every time!

Old Navy IS Gap and Gap IS Old Navy. They're owned by the same company. So is Banana Republic. Old Navy is geared toward the teens, Gap is toward young 20's and BR is toward middie 20's and up.
