Your body expels them in the form of urine(smell awful or like medicine) and in bowel movments. However, certain vitiamns in excesss like "A' can cause blindness. Vitamims in pill form are extremly difficult to breakdown in the body,so most are passed out thru waste. The only people that need vitamins are children, women(iron defficiant,or calcium), or the elderly, and only if they are not consuming enough in their daily diets. Other than that if you eat a healthy diet or even unhealthy. you probally get more than enough of all your essential vitamins. Everything in America is fortified and processed, eat a piece of bread and an orange and a burger and you've got everything for about 2 days. So save your money and just eat healthy.

Yes, you can overdo vitamins. Some just wash out of your system, but others don't and can make you sick. take only the recommended dosage.

Water-soluble vitamins will be excreted if taken too much of, but fat-soluble ones will actually poison you.
