The U.S. and other countries did send humanitarian aid to them and they used it for the military. It also enabled them to spend whatever pittance they would have used for their own people on the military.
They have been isolated, but our Chinese and Russian "friends" support them. Without the true support of China, we are in a stalemate.

No.
Korea has enough money to build intercontinental ballistic missiles. (Whether they work or not. Doesn't matter). They got enough money to feed populace.
Korea indulges in some crazy acting out.
Getting everybody stirred up.
And we are just going to tell the Korean Government not to worry about feeding people. We will take care of that. They should take that money and put it to worthwhile cause. THE MILITARY.
Believe it or not....
I think our regime changing, rebellion fostering, Invading days are over.
I hope.
Notice I left out ARMS Smuggling.
That's a business.....somebody manufactures them.
We ain't going to be invading North Korea anytime soon.

We should cut off ALL aid to North Korea. If Kim Jong can afford to build and test nuclear weapons, he can afford to feed his people. There has to be a point where we stop caring what happens to the people of rebel countries and care for ourselves first. There are people in the US who go to bed hungry every night, who have no health insurance and who choose between food and utilities. It's not right and it's time for a change.

No to all your questions. I think the U.S. meddles a little too much in foreign affairs and not enough in the problems here at home. Why should we send over billions of dollars of foreign aid to countries who will probably turn against us in the future? We have our own starving population here. Why does Bush support so much help to other people? Why can't he do his job and support the people he was supposedly elected to help? Sorry about all the questions.

No. It basically just supports his despotic regime. Which is what Clinton did, giving him all kinds of goodies, benefits, etc. to bribe him not to build nukes. Guess what? The troll went ahead and built nukes anyway.
The only choices are to either let them starve, or go for regime change. Feeding them only keeps the Troll in power longer, and lets him put more resources into nukes.

We should be sending humanitarian aid, as well as military aid to AFRICA. Why don't we?
Because they no longer have an exploitable resource.
Think about it.
This nation's policymakers and officials of government place zero value on human life. No wonder America is so hated abroad.

Why can't China and Russia help take care of this guy. He is part of their club. I certainly wouldn't get the UN involved, unless you want to see an even bigger ripoff than the Oil for Food Scandal. China has learned that for growth it needed a capitalist economy. So why aren't they showing N.Korea the way?

Let's not give King Kong II anything. In fact, let's stop humanitarian aid altogether until after we take care of our own.

Why would we go to N. Korea, they don't have oil. Besides, Any aid we tried to get into N. Korea would go directly to the Govt. anyway. The people would never see any of it.
