It depends on the outfit, complexion and taste of the person. For a caramel skin beauty like myself I like dark brown which is a few shades lighter than black. It's still daring but a little more softer and subtle.

I prefer dark brown or even tans. Black eyeshadow can be very over-powering and if not used correctly can just make you look weird and ew. Lol. Try the browns.

well considering my coloring i prefer dark brown or dark grey.....sometimes black if my evening look is vamp ya know ;-)

for me brown, but not dark, i am too fair skinned to go too dark, i would look really weird
