Both, though unfortunatly, they are usually aiming more towards the latter, so stay away from them if possible.

Most people seem to believe their are. it really depends on your religion though. Christian teachings believe in spirits (within a person), demons, and angels, but they do not believe in ghosts. Some religions are built off of the idea that ghosts do exist (such as the Cult of the Ancestors, one of the main religions in China--if you've ever seen Mulan, that is what she is doing when she goes to pray to the ancestors, or Wicca has some beliefs like that as well).
But in reality, it all boils down to what you want to believe. So if you think there are ghosts, then for you there will be.

I think there are no such things as ghost, but I believe that demons do exist.

Yes, there are ghosts, most, if not all, are friendly, But, sadly, yes, there are demons,too. I don't expect you to believe me after ths brief missive, but 50 years of life have taught me things you never learn in school. Obey the law and find a nice Church. PTL

Ghost, no, not really.
Spirits, yes. Spirits live inside us all and some tend to stay behind and "haunt" houses.
Demons are very really. They are the servants of Satan himself. They thrive on temptations and the sin of the world. We may not see them, but they are always there.
